SYDNEY - Power has been restored to Sydney's CBD, eastern and inner suburbs after the
second major outage in less than a week. (Cables 2nd Update)

SYDNEY - Power company EnergyAustralia has apologised for the second disruption to
the power supply this week which affected about 50,000 homes and businesses in parts of

SYDNEY - NSW Energy Minister Ian Macdonald has called for an urgent meeting and report
from EnergyAustralia after a second major Sydney power failure in less than a week. (Cables

SYDNEY - The public is being urged to avoid Sydney's CBD as another power cable failure
blacks out parts of the CBD and surrounding suburbs, again trapping people in lifts, closing

SYDNEY - An alleged bikie accused of murdering a man by shooting him in the head and
body in a quiet suburban street has been refused bail in a Sydney court. (Jacobs )

from driving and on his L-plates when he was pinned to the road and arrested in a dramatic
