BUFFALO -- Deputy Speaker Arthur Eve, the Assembly's longest-serving member, said Saturday he will leave the Legislature at the end of his term to work ``from the outside'' on behalf of the poor.
Calling Albany frustrating at times, the Buffalo Democrat said he will form a foundation that will focus on empowering ``the last, the least and the lost'' of society to effect changes in government and business.
